If you would like to hide all those icons on your desktop there is no program like Fences to do-it with. Fences is one of the kind program allowing you to sort all your icons into movable & resizable containers, it will even sort them for you after installation.

Fences offers a patent-pending quick-hide feature. Double click your desktop, and all your icons will fade out. Double click again, and they'll return.

Fences allows you to create shaded areas on your desktop that you can place icons in. You can label them however you wish, and move/resize them anywhere on the desktop. Pre-included layouts help speed the process for new users.
