Terms of Service

When you register as a member you will be asked to provide a password. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and you agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You agree that you shall be solely responsible for any activities or actions under your password, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions. You shall immediately notify Folksnetdesktop of any unauthorized use of your password.

Members can submit their Art, Articles and Web Links using categories provided in the category window. Members are allowed to promote their website, blog, social network, art page or just post some great links. Please note: We do not allow pornographic or erotic material or links of any kind.

By submitting your work to our servers you agree to all of our rules below.

(a)    You are not submitting anything to Folksnetdesktop that is obscene (pornographic, offensive, religious etc.)
(b)    If submitting the picture of someone whose face (human face) photo was manipulated, you have the authority and rights reserved from the person who owns the photograph to edit the picture and submit it to the site.
(c)    We can’t guarantee  that we will publish every submission (we will pick only the best)
(d)    We will do what we have to do in order to get the materials up on the site. Including, but not limited to change and adjust the work to put it on the website. As an example, we can resize it to create a preview image for you, put it in different folder etc.
(e)    The things you're submitting to the site won't violate any laws.
(f)    Your submission is free of viruses or things that would hurt our servers or database in what you're submitting.
(g)    If you submitting someone else’s work please give credit to the original author, and you're responsible for paying that person whatever they expect to be paid for they’re work.
(h)    We don't guarantee that any of our services will always be available.

Folksnetdesktop included Promotional Images to demonstrate the look and feel of our products as well as Third Party products. You may not download, reprint or manipulate the Promotional Images without express permission from Folksnetdesktop and/or the relevant third parties. Nothing in this Service shall be deemed to confer on any person, any license or right on the part of Folksnetdesktop or any third party with respect to any such image, logo or name.

By downloading third party software, you acknowledge and agree that the software is provided on an "AS IS" basis without warranty of any kind. In no event shall Folksnetdesktop be liable for claims or damages of any nature, whether direct or indirect, arising from or related to any third-party software downloaded through the Service.

This Site may include third-party advertising. These third parties' Web sites and advertisers, or the Internet advertising companies that work on their behalf, may use technology to send (or "serve") the advertisements that appear on our Site directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use cookies, JavaScript, Pixel Tags and other technologies to deliver advertisements, collect information about the effectiveness of their advertisements, and to collect anonymous information about your visits to the Site, such as the number of times you have viewed an ad (but not your name, address, or other Personal Data).

To keep this site clean, safe and free of spam we gave our users two choices on the way they can comment:

Comment as a Member: If you register member to our site, you can comment freely and your comments will be approved automatically.
Comment as a Guest: To comment as a Guest you will have to provide valid Email and your comments will have to be approved by the administrator.

Please remember that information posted to message boards and other user forums becomes public information. Use caution when posting. Individuals under the age of 18 should be especially careful not to provide any personally identifiable information when participating in any area of the Site where postings might become public.

All of our downloads are free or very low cost and safe to download. We scan them for viruses with the latest and most up-to-date virus protection software. However Folksnetworking does not guarantee or warrant that files available for downloading through the Site will be free of infection by software viruses or other harmful computer code, files or programs.

Folksnetdesktop can add, subtract or make any changes to this Terms of Service at any time, and is not obligated to send any notice to its member, or anyone else. Please note that we may provide notice of those changes to our members.
